The 2021-2022 school year will mark my 26th year in education and my 2nd as a Bremen Blue Devil.  After graduating from Valdosta State University, I spent 17 years teaching high school mathematics in classrooms across Paulding and Cobb counties.  I served as an administrator at Kennesaw Mountain High School and South Paulding Middle School before joining the BHS family.  I continue to be amazed by the support and commitment of time, talent, and resources the school system and community dedicate to the success and well-being of its students.  

I believe that students can find success in a variety of arenas including academics, athletics, and service to others. I believe that success is the result of a strong partnership and shared responsibility between students, parents, and educators.  I will do all I can to encourage, to communicate, and to support our student body and our staff members as we work together to maintain the Bremen City Schools tradition of excellence and to equip our children to be capable and content citizens of a complex world. 

My husband, Mark, and I are residents of Rockmart and share our home with 3 spoiled dogs.  We are the proud aunt and uncle to 4 nieces and 3 nephews.
