Entering my twenty-fourth year in education, I am committed to supporting our students on their educational journey at Bremen High School.  Throughout my career in K-12 education, I have worked to ensure every child is afforded the chance to receive high quality instruction from teachers who genuinely care, and I can say with confidence this is what occurs each and every day at B.H.S.

Though I now consider Bremen High School my home, this isn't where I began my career.  Before working at B.H.S., my professional teaching career began in the Carrollton City School System at Carrollton Junior High School as a 6th grade teacher. After nine years in the classroom teaching language arts to grades six through eight, I was afforded the opportunity to serve as an assistant principal and then principal at the school where my career began, C.J.H.S. After four years as a school administrator, I was offered the occassion to support the Carrollton City School System as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction.  Working as a director for seven years was a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow as a professional; however, I missed being around students and teachers every day.

Believing my calling has always centered upon working closely with teachers and students, I was excited to interview for the assistant principal's job at Bremen High School a little over three years ago.  When offered the position, I jumped at the chance to become a Bremen Blue Devil, and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made!
