Please allow students to walk themselves inside the building. We have traffic directors on campus that will assist with efficiently moving the drop-off and pick-up process each day and we ask that you please follow their directions. Students may be dropped off on either side of the campus and there are staff members on duty each morning and afternoon to assist the students. Again, we look forward to welcoming our Blue Devils back for another great school year at BMS where our motto is "Believe. Motivate. BMS Morning Drop-Off Procedures Orange traffic markers have been installed to ensure safety for students and staff. We kindly request that parents utilize this designated area for morning drop-offs and avoid parking at the front entrance to maintain smooth traffic flow. When dropping off students, please drive up to the covered sidewalk area near the gym entrance for their exit. To make the drop-off process as efficient as possible, we request that once the vehicle stops completely, students should be ready to exit and proceed to the designated entrance of the building. Please remind your student to gather their belongings before approaching the drop-off area so they are prepared to exit the vehicle upon reaching the covered sidewalk area. BMS Afternoon Pick-Up Procedures In the afternoons, the pick-up line will start between the solid yellow lane markers and the orange traffic markers. The sidewalk area to the right of the orange markers will be designated for student seating. Parents are kindly requested to follow the instructions of staff members and drive forward to load students. In case of heavy rain, students will gather under the awning, and vehicles will be directed to the right of the orange markers for loading closer to the covered awning.

After recent redeterminations for Medicaid that ended in May, many students may have lost healthcare coverage, leaving them without necessary medications and treatment. PeachCare for Kids is a medical assistance program that provides health care coverage for children in low-income families in Georgia. PeachCare and Medicaid currently provide over 1.9 million children with healthcare benefits that include primary, preventative, behavioral health, specialist, dental, and vision care and, for little to no cost, can help students and families who might find themselves without coverage.
